Solidarity Not Saviors is a training for white and citizen allies in the fight for immigrant justice who want to take effective collective action in solidarity with immigrant communities. Deepen your practices of accountability, learn about community safety from an immigrant justice perspective, and effectively apply this learning to campaigns to end deportation, detention, and discrimination. We will cover the history of xenophobia and its connection to white supremacy, common myths and narratives about immigration (and how to dispel them), the intersections of whiteness and citizenship privilege, and how to build accountable relationships with immigrant-led organizing in your community.
